History

The story of PB2828 Racing begins with Philippe Bonneel. From a very young age, Philippe has had a love for fast and sporty cars. One of the first cars he bought was the famous Peugeot 205 1.3 Rallye. A little later, the successor of this car was a Peugeot 106 Rallye, which, like its predecessor, is synonymous with particularly sporty and pure driving pleasure.

A few years later, Philippe made the switch to a very special BMW M3 E30 Evo2. This is a series limited to 500 units of the legendary first M3, of which a number of evolutions were marketed over the years. This allowed BMW to obtain homologations for track racing in the popular DTM, among others.

Somewhat later, in 2009, Philippe raced on the racetracks in full force and in the same year he became vice-champion of Belgium in the two-litre class of the Belgian Touring Car Series. He decided to invest in the iconic BMW M3 E46 CSL. This is a BMW that, according to experts and fans, is still one of BMW’s most iconic cars. The car suited Philippe perfectly, for whom the extreme hardcore aspect of these Spartan cars is central. For him, it’s always about pure driving pleasure!

At the beginning of 2022, Philippe Bonneel decided it was time to take a new step. Therefore, he ordered a very exclusive Porsche Cayman 718 GT4 RS.
