PB 2828 Racing

Philippe Bonneel started his career in car racing in 2003, in the context of the MINI Challenge. For three years, this was a top competition in Belgium with around 45 contestants, among which a number of the best Belgian pilots. As a rookie, Phillippe managed to claim his place in the sub top and he can look back on a number of excellent results during this period.

From 2006 onwards, he started to compete in the Belgian Touring Car Series. In these series, he competed both with the MINI and with a Renault Clio in the top of the 2 liter class until 2010. The cherry on the cake was a title as Belgian vice champion in 2009 in this 2 liter class and a prestigious victory in the 12 Hours of Spa during the same year. In 2011 and 2012, Philippe opted for more powerful equipment: the BMW became his new race brand. In 2011 on a BMW 1, in 2012 and 2013 on a BMW E90 WTCC (ex Andi Priaulx) and in 2014 and 2015 on a BMW M3 E92 GTR.

With this car, Philippe finished second twice in 2014, in Spa and Zolder, with Erik Qvick as his co-pilot. There were two victories in 2015 and 5 podium places in total in the Supercar Challenge.

PB 2828 Racing was Philippe Bonneel’s ‘brainchild’. Philippe made a childhood dream come true in 2003, when he became a car racer. He didn’t simply stop after one year of racing on the circuit, quite on the contrary, the dream became a true passion.

Since 2003, Philippe has acquired an impressive track record. After competing in the Mini Challenge and next the BTCS championship, he continued his climb to the top. At the moment, he competes in the Supercar Challenge, which is one of THE most prestigious tourism championships in the Benelux. This Supercar Challenge comprises races in the Benelux and neighbouring countries (such as the UK, Germany, Austria,…). Here, Philippe Bonneel secured several wins and podium places.

Philippe not only strives for nothing but top performances on the circuit. In his everyday life he is a Sales @ Marketing Director, which means he knows all too well how partners are of vital importance. This is the reason why he founded PB 2828 Racing in 2007. PB 2828 Racing organizes VIP-events both in Belgium and abroad, takes care and pampers VIPS of its partners, thus ensuring them they can in their turn create a better bond with THEIR customers and relations.
